What is CS2 Offset? Automatic Update System
What are offsets and why are they updated? How does CSCodep automatic offset update system work?
What is Offset?
Offsets are numerical values that indicate the addresses of certain data in the game's memory (player position, health, weapon information, etc.). Cheating software reads and changes game data using these offsets.
Why Update?
Each time Valve updates CS2, the game's memory structure may change. In this case, the offsets become invalid and the cheat will not work. Therefore, the offsets must be found again after each CS2 update.
CSCodep Automatic Update
CSCodep's auto-update system detects CS2 updates and updates offsets automatically. This process is usually completed within 1 hour after the CS2 update. Users don't have to do anything.
Manual vs Automatic
Many cheat providers update offsets manually — this can take hours or even days. Thanks to CSCodep's automatic system with GitHub integration, this time is reduced to minutes.
