CS2 Anubis Cheat Guide: New Map ESP Positions

We explain ESP usage strategies and map rotations in detail with examples for Site A, Site B, Canal and Palace regions on the CS2 Anubis map.

General Structure of the Anubis Map

Anubis is a bombing map that was added to CS2 in 2023 and stands out with its Egyptian-themed architecture. Unlike other maps, there are two separate entrance routes to Site A (water channel and main road) and a narrow Palace corridor leading to Site B. The Mid region is the heart of the map and rotations can be made to both sites A and B from here; This makes Mid control critical for the CT side. The general structure of the map, combining narrow passages and open squares, makes the use of ESP significantly advantageous, especially in areas with limited line of sight, such as the Connector and Canal.

Site A: Water Channel and Heaven Control

Entrance to Site A is from two directions: a low-profile route via the Canal and an overhead view from the Heaven window above the site. A player using ESP can clearly see an enemy positioned in Heaven before the site entrance; This is particularly valuable as it is an area frequented by CTs. On the canal side, sudden encounters are common due to the narrow passage, here ESP reduces reaction time to practically zero because the moment the enemy is on the other side of the wall, you already have the information.

Risks of Site B and the Palace Corridor

The only real route to Site B is through the Palace corridor; This makes site B a predictable but also very suitable area for ambush for a defending player. There are multiple corners and height differences inside the Palace, so the radar feature becomes even more critical here than ESP; because knowing which corner the enemy is in allows you to plan your route in advance, even if there is no direct line of sight. Due to the narrow nature of Site B, triggerbot is also particularly effective in this area as encounters often occur within very short distances.

Mid Control and Rotation Timing

Mid is the main vein connecting two sites in Anubis, and the side that controls it can early guess which site the opponent is heading to. Seeing the number of enemies in Mid instantly with ESP directly affects a player's decision about when to rotate to the site and when to hold Mid. Especially the attempts of players who move to Mid early at the beginning of the round to infiltrate A via the Connector are much easier to read when the radar is on and counter rotation timing becomes almost error-free.

Anubis-Specific Config Settings

Due to Anubis's narrow corridor structure, decreasing the FOV circle value and increasing the ESP line thickness from the CSCodep menu significantly improves visibility in areas such as Canal and Palace. Keeping enemy distance tags active on Radar is especially helpful when timing Mid rotations. Creating a config profile specific to this map and adjusting the ESP height for areas with vertical height differences, such as Heaven and Palace, gives more accurate results than playing with a general profile.
