Cheating in CS2 Faceit and ESEA: Risks and Facts
Is it possible to use cheats on Faceit and ESEA? Anti-cheat differences and risks.
Faceit Anti-Cheat
Faceit uses its own anti-cheat client. It works at the kernel level and scans much more aggressively than VAC. Faceit AC scans the process list, memory regions and kernel drivers in detail.
ESEA Anti-Cheat
ESEA also uses kernel-level anti-cheat. It performs advanced memory protection, driver scanning and behavior analysis. It has much more advanced detection mechanisms than VAC.
Risk Assessment
The risk of cheating in Faceit and ESEA is much higher than in regular Valve matchmaking. The probability of being caught increases significantly on these platforms.
Valve MM vs 3rd Party
Only VAC and VACNet are active in Valve MM. In Faceit/ESEA, VAC + the platform's own anti-cheat work together. This double layer of protection increases the likelihood of detection.
