CS2 MISC Features: All Utilities Guide
We explain how to correctly configure auxiliary features such as bunny hop, no flash/no smoke, radar hack and spectator list in the CS2 MISC tab.
What's in the MISC Tab?
The MISC tab in the CSCodep menu groups together tools that don't provide direct aim or vision benefits, but do practically improve the gaming experience. These include mobility aids, filters that clear vision obstructions, radar-based information tools, and interface customizations. Unlike features that directly affect the opponent, such as ESP or aimbot, MISC tools are mostly aimed at increasing your in-game comfort and therefore the risk of being noticed is relatively lower. For beginners, this tab can also be considered the safest area to try before stepping into the cheat.
Bunny Hop and Movement Aids
The automatic bunny hop feature automatically calculates the required timing when you hold down the jump button, allowing you to jump repeatedly without losing speed; Normally this is a manual skill requiring precision to thousandths of a second. When used with auto strafe, directional control in the air becomes automatic, allowing smoother movement on fast routes. These features make it easy to change positions, especially in fast-paced modes like deathmatch and wingman; In competitive matches, it is recommended to use it in moderation as sudden speed increases may attract attention.
Removing Vision Blockers: No Flash / No Smoke
The no flash feature resets the blind duration by disabling the flash grenade's effect of painting the screen white; No smoke reduces the visual density of the smoke cloud, allowing enemy silhouettes passing through it to be seen more clearly. When these two features are used together, the vision advantage that the opposing team tries to gain with tactical tools is largely eliminated. Reducing the effect to a certain percentage in the settings rather than removing it completely is a more cautious option for those who want to avoid a sudden and noticeable visual change.
Radar Hack and Spectator List
Radar hack provides the advantage of general information without opening ESP by processing the location of all players on the map in real time on the radar; This is preferred as a more "lightweight" form of cheating. The Spectator list shows who is watching you when you are dead or at the end of the match, so you can be notified in advance if someone from the opposing team is trying to notice your settings. When these two tools are used together, both the information advantage is obtained and the risk of observation is reduced. For beginners, radar hacking offers a much lower entry point compared to ESP; Since it works only with dots, it is an ideal starting point for those who want to experience the advantage of basic information without creating visual confusion.
Tips for Using MISC Features Safely
Although MISC vehicles appear low risk, physically impossible movement patterns such as bunny hops can be noticed in demo reviews; Therefore, it is important to keep jump height or speed close to human performance by avoiding exaggerated settings. Storing MISC settings in separate profiles by match type (competitive, deathmatch, wingman) via cloud config eliminates the need to reconfigure each time. Please note that some MISC features may be temporarily disabled after a new update; In such cases, following CSCodep's update notes gives the most accurate information.
