What is CS2 Triggerbot? What's the Difference with Aimbot? To compare

Differences between triggerbot and aimbot, when to use which one and proper setting guide.

What is Triggerbot?

Triggerbot is a cheat feature that automatically fires when your crosshairs hover over an enemy. Unlike aimbot, it doesn't move your aim — it just automates the trigger pull. You aim, triggerbot fires with perfect timing.

What is Aimbot? (Short Summary)

Aimbot is the feature that automatically directs your reticle towards the enemy. Unlike triggerbot, aimbot actively moves your mouse. It has settings such as FOV (field of view), smoothness, target bone.

Key Differences

Triggerbot is a passive tool — it only activates when you aim in the right place. Aimbot, on the other hand, is active — it takes the aim for you. This difference is also important from a security perspective: Triggerbot usage is much more difficult to detect in demo reviews because crosshair movements are entirely your own.

When to Use Which One?

For single-shot weapons like AWP and Scout, triggerbot is much more effective and safe. You're already aiming with the scope — triggerbot just perfects your reaction time. In rifle weapons (AK-47, M4A4), the aimbot + RCS combination is more effective because spray control is required.

Triggerbot Settings

Delay: Reality is between 10-50ms. 0ms delay is superhuman and attracts suspicion. Hitbox filter: Only the head or upper body option is ideal for AWP. Auto-scope: Opens an automatic scope when it sees the enemy in AWP. Recoil check: Disables triggerbot while spraying (prevents misfire).
