CS2 ESP & Wallhack Guide: See Through Walls
How ESP and wallhack read enemy positions from game memory, plus every ESP type explained: 2D and 3D boxes, skeleton, sound, snaplines and safe settings.
What Is ESP and How Does It Work?
ESP (Extra Sensory Perception) is a cheat feature that reads enemy positions from game memory and displays them visually on screen. By converting the coordinates of the game's 3D world into 2D screen coordinates (a World-to-Screen transform), it lets you see enemies even through walls.
2D Box ESP
The most common type of ESP. It draws rectangular boxes around enemies. Features include team-color coding, health-based color changes and distance-based size scaling. In CSCodep you can customize box thickness, color and corner style (filled/corner-only).
3D Box ESP
3D ESP draws three-dimensional boxes that wrap tightly around the enemy's hitbox. It gives more accurate position information but takes up more space on screen. It's the ESP type favored by professional players.
Skeleton ESP
Shows the enemy's bone structure in real time. Especially useful together with aimbot, since it lets you see exactly which bone you're aiming at. The head, torso, arms and legs are drawn as separate lines.
Sound ESP
Visualizes enemy footsteps, jumps and weapon-switch sounds on a directional mini-radar. It's one of the safest ESP types to check in a demo review, because the sound information already exists in the game — it's simply visualized.
Rear Threat Indicator
Shows the direction of enemies who are off-screen with colored arrows around your FOV. It helps you notice enemies approaching from behind, and works without any wallhack information.
Snaplines
Draws a line from a fixed point on your screen (top, middle or bottom) to enemies. It helps you quickly judge an enemy's direction.
ESP Settings Tips
If you want to play legit, stick to box ESP and health bars only. Skeleton and snaplines can draw too much attention. Keep colors muted and only show the enemy team.
